Sadly, in Pak we're still entwined in the centuries old dogmas and biases. this MUST change and im at it. its a whole new world where the change is accelerating at phenomenal rate. our age old beliefs and attitudes are no longer applicable and productive. today's mantra for success is technology (not just adopting but aggressively creating and affecting new technologies)

Internet is the medium of future and i strongly believe that any nation that wants to survive in the coming age must leverage the internet to the fullest.

Internet is my passion and mission is to create highest impact positive social change through internet. for this i need help and that's why am at Linkedin.. ive a number of dot com ventures and i need financing. In Pak, we dont have ne VCs or incubators..

well, back to ...., the proverbial 'tail between the legs' situation. not happy at all of course. all this distraction and noise. feels like the soul & mind are starving.

anyway, doing the heck. we do all things Thermosole (EPS - Expandable Polystyrene). need to package any thing? STE manufactures all kinds of packaging for items ranging from handicrafts to electronics. we also manufacture insulation sheets for construction and other insulation requirements.

often wonder, how wonderful it would've had been had I never left this place. i wouldn't have had gained the awareness that i have now. and i wouldn't have missed it either. would have been living a convenient, comfortable (so-called) 'Proper Life'. but now after all the trials and the most painful transformation, cant just fit back. this burning awareness with this damned acute sense of urgency will never let me be at peace, unless I actively work towards my one point agenda, 'War Abolition'. and that cant be done on the side. i know it's a full-time job. and i dont wanna do anything else either (but one has to pay the bills). sounds lofty and absolutely outlandish? i know :) but IF Humanity is to survive THIS century then we must abolish war. check my 'Case Against War'.

Ok, am gonna be blunt or let's let Russell say it most succinctly; "Mankind must Abolish War or war will Abolish Mankind"

War Abolition is NayaShivala's one point agenda cos from what i know, i KNOW that it's the ONLY way, Humanity is ever gonna survive 21st century.

i can assert this with all certainty 'cos i know what Gandhi really meant, when he said;
"An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind"

i know what MLK meant when he said;
"It's not a question of violence or non-violence anymore, today the choice we're facing is Non-Violence OR Non-Existence!"

i know what Krishnamurti meant when he said;
"When the power of Love over comes the love of Power, the world shall see peace"

i know what Lennon meant when he said;
"People can have peace if they want it!"

but for that we need to hit at all those divisive identities. but as Einstein said, "It is harder to crack a prejudice than an atom"

In Pak, we dont care about change. its all about adopting (or harshly rejecting) to whatever comes your way. NayaShivala's mission is to Abolish War & Violence. This will require a paradigm shift in attitudes (centuries old dogmas n biases) which(in my opinion) can only be achieved through propagation of Evolutionary Spirituality, positive Transhumanism and mega scale Social Entrepreneurship.

To accomplish this, focus will be primarily the educated youth in Pak and South Asia. The mission is to establish a 'Transformistic Organisation' that will serve as a 'Thought Center' n 'Internet Incubator' that will provide MODERN DAY HEROES to the youth (Pak is a world without heroes),infuse them with the quest for progress n start a chain reaction of entrepreneurs with more n more inspired youth coming up with innovative ideas & making success stories.

Starting in the area of primary education, we have developed a proprietary Multimedia Teaching Tool in Urdu/English languages for primary science classes 1-5 that is receiving great applause from the educational community. Our unique implementation model makes it easiest for the school to adopt the system. Our identity is of a Total Solution Provider. We've arranged with banks, leasing companies and hardware suppliers to help institutions in procuring equipment required for smooth operation. We take care of every thing from hardware to software to teacher's training.

FairCom (imediapk.blogspot.com) was a Social Enterprise established as a full service Interactive Advertising Agency. The mission was to stimulate and promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through Civic Awareness Communications initiatives using mass media (primarily internet). There were a series of innovative internet ventures that will be floating some time..

My role was of originator, visualizer, concept development, strategy direction, technical co-ordination, fund raiser etc. At FairCom I conceptualized and developed an 'Advertising on Demand Network' and an 'Alternate Micro Payment Gateway' for online content publishers.

Couldnt launch version 1.0 for lack of funds and shelved in late 2004.. need financing..

When i left STE, it was mainly cos of an extreme sense of urgency. an urgent need to do something.. what? I didnt know.. started scanning for areas of opportunity. internet came handy (a divine gift for us introverts :)

explored a lot and established that it is only through tech n proper attitude adjustment that we're gonna be able to keep pace with the rapid change coming head-on.

started VotersNet (VoteSmart.com.pk) an NGO that was dedicated to discussing political manifestos and policy issues. the only voter education organisation in Pak, the VotersNet advocated active participattion of educated paki lot into hardcore policy issues (average educated Pakis have merely bcome indifferent to watever is happening, almost every1 has accepted that nothing is gonna change)

i developed and proposed a reformed voting system and public policy dialogue platform..was a great thing. cudnt get ne funding so was left with no option but to shutdown..

After taking graduation exams in 1995, joined dad to establish Thermosole Enterprises.. a thermosole packages manufacturing factory (today the third largest in Pak). Dad being an industry veteran, was relatively a smooth ride.. executed all operations.. production, sales, purchasing etc.. did all the heck for seven years.. never really felt comfortable with the idea of working just for making money i left STE in july 2001 in search of my life purpose... (which in turn evolved into a life long quest and instilled the ideals of Enlightenment coupled with an absolute rejection of tradition, religiosity, clergy, authority and the very idea of plainly "living to make a living")
