  Primary responsibility is BizTalk related development. Along the way WCF and generic dot net development/SOA development opportunities may arise which will add to my stack of knowledge that i have acquired in building Enterprise Integration Services in form of ESB or pure SOA based services.
  Implementation is made interesting as development is in accordance to design patterns developed by Microsoft. This translates into nearly full usage of BizTalk development tools, so as to meet the architectural as well as performance standards.

  Being a part of the SOA initiative in UBL, my job was as a Systems Architect with especial focus on Systems integration. Later on, the consumption of these services in the source system(s) was also brought to the umbrella of our duties. The main objective was to provide a services layer for the bank, such that the migration activity of the core banking system does not break the Enterprise level applications (numbering 70 at time) and they do not need to be re-written every time. The migration activity was to take place in years, and thus goal for us was to make the Co-Existence of these two core banking systems seamless to the applications that were manipulating and viewing data from them.
  The middleware technology that was chosen was BizTalk 2006 and we implemented as ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) to facilitate our objective. All the whilst we are doing this, application performance, scalability and reliability were the Key performance Factors that determined our success.
