To obtain a Marketing related job in an organization that appreciates my talents and gives me an opportunity to develop as an individual and to contribute to society that's the statement I wrote for my career objective.
Basically my goals are:
1. Maintain my own high standards of integrity

So far the 9-5 life has been good. My present company is right in the mainstream marketing and its exciting to be working in a field of advertising that bears so much potential and so much responsibility too.
My previous job at Siemens was not suited for me as I did not feel I was using the skills I have which are more on the marketing than sales and administration side
Ideal job would be to remove the wool from people's eyes not putting it over theirs!
Media planning with active participation in creating and presenting the media part of pitches/RFPs. Planning for a variety of brands ranging from Baby products to automobiles and Internet providers.

-I prepare media plans involving Print, Television Radio. I have also worked on campaigns that included online advertising as well as OOH presence
-I conduct research and analysis of viewer ship trends as well as media habits of target audience.Analysis of market ad spend patterns, competitors spend analysis and recommendations involving media strategy
-I decide with the media buyers on the best media vehicles for our client's campaigns keeping in mind the objectives. I choose between packages offered by various media vehicles to decide which will provide the best mileage
-I am part of the cross-departmental team involved in pitches whether full services or media specific. Some of the pitches I have been involved with are-Adamjee Insurance, China Mobile, PIA , Abbott.
-I interact with media sales reps.I also liaison with clients and other agency personnel.

-Helped Motors and Generators SBU go from a 30% loss to a 30% profit in 6 months.
-Helped design a system for speedy recovery of receivables and reduction in inventory.
-Handled two international orders of motors to Afghanistan and Bangladesh- from order entry to dispatch and freight forwarding etc.
I was based in the Motors and Generators SBU, in the sales department with rotational periods in Costing and Maintenance. Fresh MBAs were hired to streamline the process and cut down the unclaimed inventory.
In 03 the unit was making a loss but when I left in November 04 the unit was making a healthy profit.
The new initiatives that I helped implement and the change in the sales process to increase co-operation between commercial and engineering staff was responsible.
I was chosen as a 'power user' to help design and implement a new ERP system called Spiridon. Spiridon was being rolled out world wide,
I interacted and worked with the team of consultants from Siemens Business Services and played a lead role in setting up the system mostly involved in data transfer from existing to the new system. Also during my time at Siemens I handled some international orders it was different from the normal business orders and exciting in spite of all the paper work etc
