The Bibojee Group of Companies is and industrial conglomerate with over 7,000 employees and has varied business interest in Textiles, Automobile, Tyre industry, Insurance and Construction sectors. JDM Textile is a listed company principally engaged in manufacture and sale of yarn. The Company was established in 1964. It is a major player in local market as far as supply of premium quality yarn is concerned. My major responsibilities in the Company include:
• To ensure timely closure of books. Timely submission of trial & miscellaneous reports required by top management.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and half yearly and annual accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
• To prepare variance analysis of the Profit & Loss of the company.
• To conduct monthly stock-takes of inventories.
• To calculate and record tax liability in accordance Income Tax Ordinance, on monthly accounts basis.
• Liaison with external / internal auditors.
• Preparation of cash flow projections and budget for the company.
• Ensure strong design and implementation of Internal Controls and participation in improvement of existing system / procedures.
