The objective of this study is to assess the communicated and current practices of Islamic banks on the basis of Ideal Islamic ethical values whether Islamic banks are following the Islamic ethical guidelines in their financial activities or not.
It can be investigated by exploring any existing disparity between ideal (required by Islamic ethical values), communicated (banking practices information in annual reports, websites, mission, vision etc) and actual (opinion of Islamic banks’ employees about current practices) ethical values.
